Hack for the People Starts Soon!
Hey hackers! Hack for the People starts soon (Friday, August 21) at 10 AM ET. Be sure to join us at the opening ceremony and hear from our keynote speaker Bjarne Stroustrup, the creator of C++.
Make sure you are registered through our Typeform. You will not be eligible for prizes if you do not fill out this form in addition to registering on Devpost, and no exceptions will be made.
Join our Intercollegiate Discord to form teams, get live announcements on workshops and speakers, and ask questions. Once you are in the Intercollegiate Discord, please read the rules and react with a checkmark in the #welcome channel. Then, proceed to the #check-in channel under Hack for the People and react with a checkmark there to get access to all of the hackathon event channels.
You are allowed to have anywhere from 1-4 team members. To be eligible for prizes, teams must submit their project by Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 1 PM ET.
Over the past few days, our team has worked to create a Hacker Guide for all of the attendees! Inside, you’ll find everything you need to know about the event including important links, workshop and mini-event information, as well as descriptions of our tracks and prizes. The Hacker Guide will serve as an invaluable resource to all of our attendees throughout the event, and we encourage you to refer to it if you have any questions.
Feel free to get in touch with us at team@hackforthepeople.com if you have any questions.
